The fuel gauge on my TR6 has just started to read about 1/4 lower than it's supposed to throughout the range. A full tank reads 3/4, half a tank will register as 1/4, etc. Any ideas as to what's wro

Possibly a leaking, sinking float. It is a simple plastic device about the same size and shape as a 35mm film canister. I have found them hard to obtain separately from the sender mechanism. Trevor J

I think more likely you're looking for a bad connection or damaged wire somewhere between the gauge and the fuel tank sender. Could possibly be a bad ground at the sender, or a bad connection betwee
