Helping out a friend with a Miata today, I came across this amusing (to me anyway) tech note on Mazda Miatas (MX-5 outside the US) : Seems that TR6 are not the only cars with thrust washer problems !

What a coincidence, I met him in 1991 At 6Pack in St. Louis. He brought out his four seater TR6. Besides, to all us midwesterners, all those small eastern seaboard states all run together. ;-) Dave
