There were 2 filter heads used on the TRactor engines, the 2 that you mention above. The threads in the filter head for the long bolt that holds the whole thing together are different between the 2 b

I think it's a matter of looking at the filter head that is already on your TR and ordering for the brand you have (probably Purolator). On a Purolator the name is clearly on the head in raised lett
