- When I rebuild the wet sleeve engines, I make sure the block is spotless first. This means having it hot-tanked, rinsed, and forced air dry. Then I make sure the sleeve seats are clean, clean, clean

- I have used Wellseal for this application as well as others. The only contribution I will make to this is make sure the surfaces are clean and follow the directions. That may sound obvious but Wellse
