Hello all, Will be installing a vacuum gauge on my 59 - TR3A. The only place I can think to tap into is the vacuum advance line to the front carb. Any thoughts? Alex Manzo 59 TR3A (getting real close

The vacuum advance line is "ported" vacuum, not manifold vacuum. In particular, it sees almost no vacuum with the engine idling (throttle closed). I drilled and tapped a hole into the balance tube.
