- Horrible Freight sells a pair of stethoscopes (as do a lot of other people) that will prove useful in pinpointing the source of the noise. It is possible that you have a bad lifter or a bad bearing.

- I used that same stuff with great success in an old motor home I had for awhile, which had a Dodge 440 in a van type setup (It was an old class C motor home.). Not even the huge heat put out by that
