- Well, that was fast. There is only one left and it has a missing bolt. The bolt appears to be 1/2" Whitworth 12tpi. It will have to be tapped to 9/16" unless you can find a Whitworth bolt someplace.

- The 3173 is listed in the Haynes ZS manual as 68/69 TR250 175CD-2SE emission carb. I always thought the F and R meant Front and Rear, but according to the manual, some TR6 carbs are labled R and L. D

- My original and untouched TR250 carbs have the wire seal but the seal is lead is bonded to the wire and simply says Zenith. No numbers. All my other carbs have brass tags ab say either 3337 or 3385 b

- A fellow in my local club just sold a TR3 that he said won a national championship last June. He got close to $30K for it from a guy in Denmark. The guy flew over stayed for a few days and bought it.

- Not sure which car you're talking about, but it's my understanding that the TR250 had a pull type starter with the gear bevels towards the rear. The TR6 changed (not sure when) to a push type starter

- Thanks to all who replied. Especially Ted Schumacher. I am now convinced my rear springs have sagged. The list members tell me stock height on fronts are 10.2 and rears are 11.5. My old fronts are 10
