- Jeff, You may wish to recheck the valve timing and reajust, and recheck dwell and ajust as needed and if worst comes to worst reajust the carbs. MOst likely it timing Just my opinion. Dave Eaton 71 G

- Milton, My 71 GT6 came with engine valances and radiator cowling which are made out of a type of cardboard. the radiator cowling had a pair of holes adout 1 to 1 1/2"dia. with two plastic reinforced

- I poped (poped?) home at lunch to check my GT6 MKII parts book, it showed no hoses so I would guess at least the 71&72 MKIII's had the maybe even the 73. The two books by Graham Robinson on Spitfire'
