The TR3 has zero degrees of castor: it is possible to install TR4 upper wishbones to gain (I think it is 3 degrees) castor, but one then also has to have a corresponding trunnion. I did this on TS 51

I'd be surprised the frame was "shot" without very significant body rot. I just bought a 1957 small-mouth which needed floors, sills, B posts, rear valance and a trunk floor - but the frame was fine.
