There was a change between 1958 and 1960 .. my 58 had Dzus but my 60 has Screws. The dzus had a block underneath that the windshield slid onto before fastening but the Screw Type just go straight in

According to the Moss book, the Dzus change was at TS60000 .. with a lot of other changes .. Moss indicates backing plate for Dzus and direct body attach for Screws (TS60001 +). So I would check your

The cracks were not caused by those screws .. I had read lots of warnings about those. The cracks do not start or end anywhere near the 3 screws .. they start in the top corners and end about a foot

I torqued the head to 105 lbs in steps of 10 from 55. I then ran it 15 minutes to get it warm, let it cool a bit, then re-torqued to 105. The car only had about 800 miles on the new gasket when it w

I just replaced the head gasket on my TR3A again, this time face side down, torqued heads to 105 lbs, in steps of 20, torquing twice each step. Sprayed gasket with Permatex copper spray, got it good
