The place local just uses a single stage DuPont paint with clearcoat, no color sanding and all that. They do three coats. I saw their work and it looks pretty good for all of $1,000- <$1,500 tops. Th

Hmm. Perhaps more research is due. He said the clearcoat is mixed in the paint, and they do 2 or three coats. I will have to check on the two stage process. Are you saying a single stage will not giv

All taste isn't in the mouth. It's my understanding that a two stage paint job indicates a clear coat after the main color coat(s). I, personally, don't think this looks very good, unless you have a
