- In the picture of filter adapter C5TZ6881A it appears that there is no o-ring nor a groove for one. This would explain why, in this application, the unusual gasket with holes would be necessary. I h

- Mark is correct there is no o-ring, the base is flat ring with no groove and takes a flat gasket. There is an internal o-ring to seal the thru-bolt. David Franchi
