If I had tinkered with the H pipe further and done something like you mention I probably would like having it, my installation is just very simple. The 3 chamber Flowmasters have a tremendous sound.

I had good luck replacing mine with an aluminum 3 core from Ron Davis Racing Products in Phoenix, Az. Cost was $450.00 and he has the drawings so all you have to do is order for a Sunbeam Tiger. Drop

Couple of questions, are you reading the oil pressure directly or through a sending unit? If you are reading through a sending unit than disconnect it and attach a direct reading guage. Maybe I miss
