- Performance is bottom line. twenty years on rebuild and no wear. I use Mobil 1 20/50 in my Tiger, MG and motorcycles. I use 10/30 Mobil 1 in my Saturn and Mini. I forgot, I also use 20/50 in my garde

- Steve, So as to partially uncloud the issue of replacing number plates on MG's and Triumphs this is done on the early cars as the MGTD, MGA and Triumph Tr2 and 3. Later cars I don't know.

- cylinders, hoses, brake light switch and steel lines for leakage. If none, check master cylinder. If none all is left is vacuum booster. Possible internal leak and fluid going into manifold. Rebuild

- Recommend you check ignition distributor. Point gap may have closed due to follower wear.

- Running electronic ignition eliminates point wear, so check for air leaks on carburetor, manifold and fittings. A basic tune may help with plugs, cap and wire.
