- Simple evolution! Less maintainence, runs cooler, easier to replace linings, Lighter weight, less parts, and with modern materials, they work better. Would you take a new car and stick drum brakes on

- He is right - the only advantage is that THE DISCS COOL FASTER. Of course what he neglected to say that as a consequence discs are much less prone to fade and that fade = no brakes at all. /// unsubs
