This may sound a little dumb to some but..... Has anyone tried fitting a wheel with a pattern of "4 on 100mm" on a Sprite? I think the Sprite has a "4 on 101.6mm" pattern, but not sure? How much diff

Don't worry, we've already done the "Dumb Question" thread this week, you're safe. I'm sure of it. Yep. (4 x 4" = 4 x 101.6 mm) Enough to not be the best idea. Chris Kotting ckotting@iwaynet.net (A m

Sprites are 4x4" Spitfires and some others are 4x100mm I've never heard of anyone making the change. You can always have the wheels machined to make the holes oblong, but I dunno how wise this is. An

One correction: Spitfires are 4x3.75".... same as early Formula Fords and some Lotii. If you work the math.. it's a 4x95.25mm. Honda's are 4x100mm... and if you find some more great deals let me kno

Speaking of wheels, again: sometime back, I believe, someone offered the idea of using Vega wheels on a Midget. Is that a real option? And if so, can one use the Vega size tires as well? We're talkin

Here is a list of the wheels that will fit a Spridget. I think there are some very obscure cars that will work as well, but if its harder to find than the Crosley or the Opals, You probably wont fin

I have the Vega GT wheels (13x6) with 185/50R13 Yokohama A008RTUs (yep real old). You have to use spacers especially at the rear. You can probably get by at the front (although I have interference pr

Hi Danny, The Vega wheels are indeed the same 4 on 4 bolt pattern. They work great on the Morrises. But they have a lot of space in their wheel wells. The Vega wheels have a lot of offset and may not

Or go to larger studs (generally a good idea for competition) on your car all around. This is rather a big job, since you have to drill out the axle half-shafts to slide over the larger stud. Those h

My experience with 5" Vega wheels hasn't been good when used with square wheel arch cars. The offset didn't seem right so the tire wouldn't sit in the center of the wheel well. I guess if you run ski
