Yes, that is where the weep hole is and an indication of time for a new pump. Check the manual for fan belt tension, but usually a 1/2 inch of deflection at the fan belts longest run is about right.

Just got off Napaonline.com and the only solid state fuel pump listed for the 1275 engine of a Midget (same as Sprite) lists for $116. It's cylinrical and made by Facet also. Can't find any $60 solid

I found the NAPA part number for this pump also. It is NAPA P74019, but the NAPA online web site shows a picture of the pump and states its rated for 5.8-8.7 PSI. Frank, isn't this a little high, or
