I installed the rear u joint tonight with the grease zerk facing the drive shaft. It bumps the fixed end of the shaft before it reaches the end of its travel. My manual shows both ends with the zerk

How can I tell the difference between a ribcase and smoothcase shifter if they're both chromed? Also, how were the stock bugeye shifter knobs attached to the lever? I just removed mine and the lever
