I've owned both, a 66 B and my present 71 Spit. There is a difference in the "feel" . When I'm in the Spit it feels like I am part of the car if that makes sense. I felt a little insulated in the B,

I don't own an MGB, but a friend of mine bought a '67 that had been stored in someone's yard under a cover for 20 years! It runs beautifully! Very strong-only needs a bit of new paint and a new hood

If I remember correctly a chrome bumper MGB weighs just over 2000 pounds ready to go, and produced around 90 hp. The rubber bumper versions weighed 300lbs more and produced about 65 hp. Gotta love th
