There is a cardboard piece that the speaker mounts to which in turn mounts in the back area of the "glove box". TRF has these as I just got one from them. Sorry, I don't have the part number with me

To build on what Reid said, the OE speaker actually fits angled into the RR corner of the glovebox. It mounts vertically with sheet metal screws on the front and side "walls" IIRC. I haven't installe
