I also have the same distributor on my 1975 Spitfire. The distributor is from an Austin Healey so make sure that you order the right parts otherwise nothing will work. I am currently looking for the

Glenn My 75 Spit has the same conversion and I have been running with the timing set at 8 degrees BTDC and a point gap of .015. Mine does not have vacuum advance(retard) and seems to run fine at this
