yes... but NOT with rotoflex setup. The mounts welded into the wheel wells was simply to re-position the shock to clear the donuts on the axles. My MKIII GT6 upper shock mount is identical to my 75 S

While Im not sure which mounts you are refering to, since all GT6's and Spitfires have the same upper shock mounting points on the rear frame sturcture, which are part of the frame and not removable.
