- Aaaah! My Spitfire is leaking!! Yeah, I know. Big surprise. But I'm thinking that replacing the oil pan gasket and the front and mail seals will really help the keep my garage floor safe to walk on.

- David, It's the old case of a leaky British car. Always had leaks in new cars (Austin, Morris, Triumph). There's really only teh one way. Need to get some (coloured if at all possible) water in a jug

- If you are forced to leave a Spit outdoors for a while, I recommend removing the rubber plugs in the front of each front floorboard (about where your heels rest). Otherwise, rainwater can accumulate
