- I bought a set of Spit pads from VB in '96 when I restored my Spit and they have worked well since. They still have plenty of pad left. I rebuilt the master and slave cylinders but not the calipers.

- joe, you are certainly correct about the steel braid brake hoses. we sell many every year and the price is only slightly higher than replacing the 4 stock hoses. for you info, we also make kevlar bra

- I have a set of the kevlar pads that Ted sells on my Spit. They are much better than the stock pads I had before. They work very well on the street and at the autocross. I have no financial interest
