Hi all, I have a 78 Spitfire. I wanted to have the brightest tail lights that I can get so I took them apart this morning. I have discovered that all of the chrome on the reflectors inside the lights

I haven't found anything remotely close to chrome. I tried Eastwood's spray can stuff that's called Reflective Aluminum Aerosol, but would NOT recommend it - it's way too dull. M D "Doc" Nugent - ht

Since I was at Home Depot I decided to try Rustolium Chrome paint. I'll take my time with the painting. I'll let everyone know the results. My next question is in regards to the actual light bulbs.

How about white paint? Most metallic paints are essentially light gray. BTW, chrome is one of the less-reflective metals. it is not especially appropriate for reflectors, which ought to be done in al
