All the internal stuff must come out. There are four (4) bolts holding the glass guide rails in place (two each). The regulator (channel?) that runs the BOTTOM length of the glass must be disconnect

The GT6 has a larger bore, though I forget the size just off hand, and am at work, so cannot look up for you. However, you should be able to find this info in your reference manual. One quick check,
