- Have you tried leaving the wire to the steel pin connected, turning the key on but not the engine and trying to shift out of park? If this works, it could be the BOO switch or the fuse that controls

- Okay, this involves the 94 ATX that I sold last year. The person is describing to me what sounds like a crank sensor failure. The car will sometimes start, sometimes not. It's not related to heat tho
