- Could be that depending on piston orientation (ex: horizontal) the shaking motion would either rip out the anchors or else if tightly bolted down the vibrations would shake the compressor to death. S

- manual I anchored my piston type vertical compressor through those holes into the concrete garage floor. That was about 4 years ago. Let me know what to expect and when to expect it ;-) -Roland

- I bought some 'official' compressor mounting pads from a local installation contractor for about $4 a shot, they are a fairly tough 'rubberized cork pad laminated to rubber' about 3/4" thick x 3" x 3

- Interesting mounting vertical compressors should come up now... I just installed my DeVilbiss 60gal unit. The manual actually said to bolt it to the floor. I haven't done that yet, so in the meantime

- When you let Roland know, copy me too. My 60 gal vertical 2 stage IR has been bolted to the floor using the holes in the feet for 7+ years. Should I replace it. It seems to run great and never moves
