What do you use to keep the elements from getting into the clutch and flywheel through the gap in the bell housing for the clutch/throw out arm. I assume there was some sort of leather boot that was

I fought that boot (Chevy Duty) in my 51 for the longest time (clutch fork installed). Still can't get it in. I'm convinced it will only fit if the bell housing is off and the clutch fork out. Nick K

Hello Bill, Nick, and Other Ole Truckers, I measured the fine looking rubber clutch fork boot from Chevy Duty. It's groove, which ought to be close to the bellhousing opening, is about 1-5/8" x 3-7/8
