Yes they do. and some will interchange with the drum plates while other will not. Now maybe some of the newer models may not have them but all of the older ones did. Pat 67 Nova SS 41 Art Deco chevy

Okay I am confused. On a drum system the backing plate is where the shoes and springs and such all mount. A disk system has a caliper bracket that may or may not be part of the spindle. Can you give
