- There is a repair bearing for GM c-clip axles that is a bearing and seal in one unit, and moves the bearing roller contact area back to the unworn part of the axle. Axle replacement is not necessary.

- The easiest "bolt" in mod is to just change the existing rear ring & pinion for a 3.55 rear from Patricks...then you can keep everthing else. If you want to convert to a later model rear with an open
