we found out that the brakes we put are in incorrect for the drums, so the back end locked up. That problem is fixed. Thanks everyone! :) now, onto the engine. I'll look into everyone's suggestions.

Forgot to mention. The car catches, runs for about .02 seconds, then dies. It ran one time for about 30 seconds or so, then died. The engine rattles all the bolts in sight (and teeth also). It runs r

sounds like the ballast resistor is broken. Take it out of the starting circuit and check its resistance with an ohm meter. If it is high resistance (infinite) then it is broken. Jon --Original Messa
