- If engine is as original that's right. But valve cover arrangements can be changed, so the best way is to get the casting number off the block and compare it with the lists available at the Inliners

- Yes, that usually works but some of the early 235s may have had the old style valve covers too. Also people (like me) put the old valve covers on them to disquise them as a 216. Probably a better wa
