Did you "score" the frame on the center line of the original axle prior to disassembly of the leaf suspension? My concern is using my donor '77 Chevy "bolt in" IFS system, and finding I miss the mark

According to Heidts installation instructions for the 47-54 series Chevy pickups the centerline of the crossmember should be located 18 1/8" behind the center of the front shackle hole in the frame.
