- Speaking of Ebay, I followed up on one of those Ebay auction leads someone posted to the list awhile back, and I'm now the owner of a pair of double-action, lever-type shocks for my '49 Chevy 1/2 ton

- It's my understanding that the double action shocks were used on AD trucks from 47 to 49. In 50 they went to tube-style shocks. I've never seen it listed as an option. Hope this helps. Joe Clark '50

- Hi Dave, Per my restoration packet RPO 200 was for the double acting shocks and it was available in front on all models, and on the rear on several models. I have no experience with the double acting
