There is a pretty good article in the tech section of chevytrucks.org in which a guy installs power steering on his '56 pickup. He uses a kit from Chevy Duty and a steering box from a '70s Chevy 1/2

For comparison, I paid about $1000 to have my driveway doubled in size. About 20 X 25 feet. It was done as a side job by a cement worker, and he said that most of the cost was in the concrete itself.

Here are a few parts for sale that came with my 1955 1st Series Chevy 1/2 Right front fender--pretty straight, minimal rust, two bullet holes. The fender was in the bed of the truck so I can't vouch
