- i would only go to a full chassis swap if your frame is trashed OR you want 4x4. otherwise-i would stick to an IFS swap and a rear end swap... about the same work and an IFS will allow you much more

- i wuold use a stock alt off a mid/late 70's truck that had AC. that way you are assured of an alt that puts out at least 50A which should be fine. you can use either a V-8 alt or a I-6 alt they would
