- if you are using a 6 volt coil in a 12 v world then you need a b. res. and if you are using an un res.coil then you need one. if your using 12 volts and you have a 12 volt coil with internal reseter

- first off do you have a V8 Engine or A Inline 6 if you have an V8 there is a physical difference in the size of the Cylinder block and Heads much bigger then the Small Block Check the casting numbers

- have you looked at rpm. at the speed that you say it flats out at verses rpm setting still. does it come up in rpm sitting still ? find a shop with a Dyanmometer and check it that away. is it starvin

- That line is for a top oiler for the rocker arms that someone has added its not a bad idea. Ford's used it a lot more than Chevy, they oiled better than ford did Robert Baird
