- I've noticed vehicles from the desert or midwest rust really fast after they are brought back to the rustbelt. they need protecting inside and out, a very conscientious job, if they are to hold up.

- YOu need tight fitting wheels. Some trucks took 9/16 lugs, which would be the 1.5 ton axles, and others took 5/8" studs which was 2 ton rating. ( you may find exceptions to this for later AD trucks).

- Eleven trucks? Not bad. for 1951 14000GVW could be series 4000 1-1/2 ton or series 6000 two ton. the doors are all the same for 51. Truck size does not matter. Any doors from 47 to 55 will fit the op

- Oil bath air cleaner takes engine oil. They work by accelerating dirty air down close to the oil surface. Then the air makes a U turn. Particles have more momentum and crash into the oil, stuck like
