This Morgan should be a +4. The number stamped in the engine compartment below the windshield might be the body number, e.g. the number for the wooden body frame. The engine number is a replacement

This number would seem to be too low to be a Fergus Motors tag. My '52 +4 had a Fergus Motors (copper? Brass?) tag near the toolbox but it is numbered 13709 (see attached). But then again, my number
