- I believe the concensus from previous threads was to use Redline transmission fluid. ( I think it is ATM?). That is what I put in my MGA transmission... Joe Ratigan 58 Roadster

- T Green, the reason also for the piss thin oil is to increase gas mileage , i put MG oil in my wife's Geo(Chevy Corolla) and the mpg went down noticeably.....use to run straight 40 andf 50 in an old

- At the same time, I've found that by using 5w-30 in my S-10, my gas mileage goes _down_, as opposed to going up a few points by using 10w-40. Anyone care to venture a guess? -- Michael S. Lishego St.
