- I find this method works very well for sealing the tappet covers. First the cover must be straight, kinda a 'no brainer' but necessary. Then clean the surface of the cover where the gasket sits. I 'g

- Doug Jackson out on the West coast has a 1-piece side cover made from machined aluminum. I installed on over 5 years ago and not a single drop of oil has leaked from side covers. well worth the price
