- To take advantage of a cam like the Piper 285 that's on Ebay right now, you need a pretty hot motor in general. The Piper 285 is a long duration, very high lift cam -- you will need race valve spring

- Take a look at Delgin racing cams.. http://www.elgincams.com/ Iv used cams in three rebuilds. I have the 70-10 cam and the car just screams. There is a good write up on cams on the web site. Dema Elg
