- This stayrod question is something I've always wondered about. My understanding was that they were common to roadsters but were not installed on GTs, which got the angle brackets on the front engine

- Workshop Manual says that steady rods were fitted to roadsters and GTs from car No 341295 to meet certain territorial requirements. Clausager says they were fitted to North American cars from Roadste
