Im no mechanic, but I think that the radiator needs something done to it. The DPO by-passed the thermostat switch, so I know that will have to be re-done. However I am not sure what the difference is

Um, I think you'll find that your best bet is either a new radiator or a rod-out. 1) Re-core: Take the top and bottom pieces and any other structural parts of the radiator apart. Throw away the bit
