- Plexiglass is relatively easy to work with. I once shortened a curved motorcycle fairing windshield by cutting about 3 inches off on a band-saw and then sanding, wet sanding and polishing the edge.

- DON'T use Plexiglas. It could yellow and quite possibly crack. Use Lexan. Lexan will not crack and you can easily cut it with a jigsaw and a wood blade. Lexan is not quite as scratch resistant as ple
