I am having a problem with my hood popping open at highway speed. Everything seems to line-up properly. How do you adjust the latch (safely)? I am worried that I am going to have a head imprint in it

Warren, The latch mechanism has a groove in the central locking pin - turn with a screwdriver about half a turn to extend the length - usually works.Also check that the mechanisms are all engaging -

On my Sprite I removed the grill to get a close look at the locking mechanism and determined that the locking pin was bent. It would engage, but since it was crooked, it was able to come out of the l
