- Hey all Struggling with removal of my cylinder head. Hasn't been in place that long, about three years, and I can see it move when I try to ease it off, but cant get the SOB to let go. I've tried tap

- Feed some rope through the spark plug holes, and then carefully turn the engine over. Prosaic, but--sorry....I meant to say: An old and common trick. Regards, Ray

- Another method is to replace the spark plugs, replace the head bolts, but leave them standing proud of the head by about 1/4 inch. Crank over the engine. Compression will break the seal on the gasket
