It's probably coincidence, but my two Cs never had the crack of doom either - my 69 B has it. Could be weird or possibly related to engine vibration or a hiccup in the space time continuum ... dunno.

I've got the same problem with my 77 B. Has anyone done a "door skin" repair, and if so, how is it done, and were you satisfied?
