OK. Here's the way I've been looking at it. Since July, when I bought my B (1980), my ignition light is bright when I start the car, dims as I rev and the car warms, and will glow very dimly the rest

Hi Dan, from a guy who has had 3 remanufactured alternators in his B (that's another story), I think you are ok. My experiance is, they work or they don't. Unless of course your belt is loose. If you
